HANDS ON PRACTICE

Hands-On Practice

Apply your new skills in a real-world setting by working on a live model under instructor guidance and supervision.

While bringing a live model is encouraged for additional hands-on experience, it is not required. Students who do not bring a model will continue practicing on a mannequin head and receive the same instruction and support throughout training.

Students that choose to work on a live model are responsible for securing their own model for the final training day.

  • ATTENDANCE + RESCHEDULING

    • Attendance for all scheduled training days is required to receive certification.
    • Enrollment deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another scheduled class one time if requested at least 14 days before class.
    • Transfer requests made less than 14 days before class are subject to a $300 rescheduling fee.
    • Students who miss any portion of the program must attend a future training date and pay a $300 re-enrollment fee.
    • All tuition payments are non-refundable.

TRAINING FAQ

Do I need any previous experience to enroll?

Not at all! This program was designed specifically for beginners. Whether you're brand new to the beauty industry or looking to start a new career, we'll guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of lash artistry.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Students must be at least 18 years old to enroll in the NVR Lash Certification Program.

Do I have to be a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician?

No. Arizona offers a Lash Technician License, which is separate from a cosmetology or esthetics license. Our AZ State Board Approved & Accredited program provides the training required to apply for Arizona Lash Technician Licensure.

No prior beauty license is required to enroll.

Am I licensed after completing the program?

Not quite! After successfully completing the program, you'll receive your certification from NVR Beauty Bar. You'll then submit your certification, application, and licensing fee to the Arizona State Board to obtain your Lash Technician License.

We'll walk you through the next steps so you can confidently move forward after graduation.

Are payment plans available?

Yes! We proudly offer payment plans through Affirm, allowing qualified students to split tuition into manageable monthly payments.

Affirm payment options are available during checkout and are subject to approval through Affirm.

What should I bring to class?

Just yourself and a positive attitude! All training materials, supplies, equipment, and your professional lash kit are included with enrollment.

Students are encouraged to bring a notebook, water bottle, and lunch or snacks for the day.

Is a live model required?

No. A live model is encouraged but not required. Students will receive extensive hands-on practice throughout training using mannequin heads and guided exercises. Those who wish to gain additional real-world experience may choose to work on a live model under instructor supervision.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Enrollment deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another scheduled class one time if requested at least 14 days before class.

Transfer requests made less than 14 days before class may be subject to a rescheduling fee and are based on seat availability.

What happens after I graduate?

After graduation, you'll receive your certification documents and instructions for submitting your application to the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology.
